Comers Start
Comers Start at start.comers.app is the customer entry point for Comers Platform.
It is not the operational commerce panel. Its purpose is to manage the account-level context around Core and then launch the user into the appropriate operational environment.
Main layout
Section titled “Main layout”The Start interface contains a small number of Platform areas.

H[Top bar] --> O[Organization scope]
N[Navigation] --> A[Organizations]
N --> M[Members]
N --> I[Instances]
H --> P[Account menu]
On desktop, the primary navigation is on the left and the selected Platform workspace occupies the main content area.
On smaller screens, navigation becomes more compact, but the same areas remain available.
Organization scope
Section titled “Organization scope”The top bar contains an Organization selector.
Use it to narrow the current Start workspace to one Organization. This is useful when the same account belongs to several Organizations.
The selected scope affects Platform views such as Members and Instances. It does not replace the operational Seller or Store context used later inside Core.
Organizations
Section titled “Organizations”The Organizations area lists Platform Organizations available to the account.
From this area, permitted users can:
- create an Organization,
- open its details,
- maintain its business profile,
- archive an Organization,
- manage the relationship between the Organization and its Core instances.
See Organizations.
Members
Section titled “Members”The Members area manages Organization membership.
Depending on access, a user can:
- review members,
- add an existing Comers user by email,
- create a new user and add them to the Organization,
- edit a member profile,
- change a member role,
- remove a member from the Organization.
Instances
Section titled “Instances”The Instances area shows Core instances linked to the selected Organization scope.
It can be used to:
- inspect instance state and deployment type,
- see the linked Core Organization,
- launch an active Core instance,
- generate an enrollment token when permitted,
- unlink an instance when permitted.
See Core instances and Enrollment.
Creating resources
Section titled “Creating resources”The Create action in the Start shell provides entry points for the resources the current user is allowed to manage.
Depending on permissions and selected Organization context, this can include:
- a new Organization,
- a Member,
- an Instance enrollment flow.
The UI can show an action while still preventing its completion when the required Organization permission is missing.
Account menu and profile settings
Section titled “Account menu and profile settings”The account menu provides access to profile settings and logout.
Current personal settings include:
- interface language,
- light or dark appearance.
These are user preferences. They do not change Organization data or Core Business Settings.
Opening Comers
Section titled “Opening Comers”The unauthenticated Start surface offers Open Comers as the normal way into the operational product.
After authentication, Platform resolves the account, Organization access, and available Core targets. A user can be launched directly when there is an unambiguous permitted target; otherwise Start remains the place to choose or prepare the required context.
Once launched, day-to-day commerce work happens in Comers Core.
Start is not Core administration
Section titled “Start is not Core administration”Start manages Platform-owned customer resources.
Seller configuration, sales channels, Products, Orders, Warehouse, Messages, operational permissions, and Business Settings belong to Core rather than Start.
This distinction is useful when deciding where a setting should be changed.
