Comers AI

Comers AI is the intelligence layer used across Comers for AI-assisted capabilities. It is designed to work with the operational context already available in Comers rather than act as a detached chatbot with no knowledge of the business process.

Agent Comers is one of the user-facing AI experiences. Other AI-assisted functions can appear inside operational workflows where they are supported.

Connected operational context

Depending on the enabled capability and available relationships, AI can work with context spanning areas such as:

Orders and customers,
Products and Listings,
inventory and Warehouses,
shipments,
customer conversations,
support and after-sales context.

Using connected context makes it possible to answer or assist with operational questions that would otherwise require manually combining information from several modules.

Permissions still apply

AI access does not grant extra business permissions.

Comers AI must remain within the effective access of the current user and the rules of the operation being performed. If the user cannot access a business scope or perform an action normally, using the AI interface must not become a way around that restriction.

This also means that available AI actions can differ between users, Organizations, and enabled product capabilities.

Assistance and actions

Where a capability is supported, AI can assist with tasks such as understanding context, preparing content, or carrying out permitted operations.

The exact action set depends on the current feature, integration, permissions, and any approval rules that apply. Treat suggestions and generated content as part of the operational workflow rather than as an independent source of authority.

Human control

Comers is designed so AI can assist operational work without removing human control. Review, approval, correction, or override can remain part of the workflow where the operation requires it.
