Account, registration & sign-in

A Comers account belongs to a specific person and is used to sign in to the system.

The Organizations and features you can access depend on the permissions assigned to you.

Simply having an account does not give you access to all data or all Organizations.

Open start.comers.app.

When no authenticated Platform session exists, Start provides entry actions for:

  • opening Comers,
  • registration for a new user,
  • account/settings access.

The browser is redirected to the Comers identity service when authentication or registration is required.

Choose Register from the Start entry screen.

Account registration is handled through the secure Comers sign-in system.

Comers Start redirects you to the registration form, and after your account is created successfully you return to the application and can start setting up your Organization.

After successful registration, the user returns to Start and can continue with Platform onboarding and Organization setup.

When you open Comers, sign-in takes place through login.comers.app.

After you sign in successfully, you return to Comers Start. The system checks which Organizations you can access and which Core instances are linked to them.

If there is one appropriate Core environment available, you can go directly to work. If you have access to several Organizations or instances, Start lets you choose the appropriate one.

Account identity and Organization membership

Section titled “Account identity and Organization membership”

These are different concepts:

  • Account — who the person is.
  • Organization membership — which Platform Organization the person belongs to.
  • Permissions — what the person is allowed to do there.

A person can therefore:

  • have an account but no membership in a particular Organization,
  • belong to one Organization,
  • belong to several Organizations with independent access.

See Members & team access.

A user who already has an active session can open Start directly to manage Organizations, Members, Instances, or personal settings.

After signing in, Comers Start checks which Organizations you can access and which Core instances are linked to them.

If you have one appropriate Core environment, you can go directly to work. If you have access to several Organizations or instances, you choose the one you want to use.

If your sign-in expires, Comers will ask you to sign in again.

Remember that signing in successfully does not automatically give you access to every Organization and feature. What you can see and do depends on the permissions assigned to you.

Signing out ends your session in Comers.

To enter Comers Start again or launch Core, you will need to sign in again.

From profile settings, the signed-in user can choose supported personal interface preferences such as:

  • English or Polish,
  • light or dark appearance.

These preferences belong to the person, not to the Organization.
