First steps

Use this checklist as a practical starting point. The exact screens and available actions depend on the products, integrations, and permissions enabled for your Organization.

After signing in, make sure you are working in the Organization that should own the business data you are about to configure.

If your account belongs to multiple Organizations, verify the selected context before connecting an external account or importing data.

Decide which Seller represents the business or brand you are configuring and which sales-channel account belongs to it.

The usual relationship is:

Organization → Seller → sales channel/account

Keeping this structure clear becomes especially important when one Organization manages multiple brands or several accounts on the same platform.

Choose the supported channel you want to connect and complete the authorization or credential flow requested by Comers.

Then verify that the external account is associated with the correct Seller and channel context.

See Connecting your first integration.

After the first connection, review the data Comers receives from the channel before building additional workflows around it.

Check identifiers, source/channel information, and the relationship between imported records. Provider-specific capabilities can differ, so the information available for one channel may not be identical to another.

Use Products to create internal products directly or derive them from existing Listings.

The goal is to keep an internal Product as the stable catalog record and connect channel-specific Listings to it instead of creating an unrelated product for every offer.

Create the Warehouses that represent your stock pools and the stock items for your Products, then record the starting quantities with adjustments. From then on, orders update stock automatically and available quantities are shared with your connected channels.

See Warehouse for how stock, automatic updates, and movement history work together.

Add the people who need access and keep permissions aligned with their responsibilities.

Signing in identifies the person; it does not automatically grant access to every Organization, business scope, module, or action.

Once the initial structure is in place, continue with Comers Core and the module guides relevant to your workflow.
