Organizations
An Organization in Comers Start represents a company or other business using Comers.
Within it, you manage the team, access to Comers Core, and the instances linked to that business.
Creating an Organization
Section titled “Creating an Organization”From Comers Start, open Organizations and choose the action to create a new Organization.
The creation form includes the Organization name and can capture business profile information such as:
- billing name,
- tax number,
- billing street,
- postal code,
- city,
- country,
- contact email,
- contact phone.
The exact fields you can change later depend on your permissions.
Each Organization has basic data such as its name and an identifier used by Comers.
This data helps identify the Organization and link team members, Core instances, and other configuration elements to it.
Organization profile
Section titled “Organization profile”Open an Organization to view and — if you have the appropriate permissions — change its basic details.
The Organization profile contains company information and contact details related to your account in Comers.
Do not confuse it with Seller and Store configuration in Comers Core.
That is where you define how individual brands, stores, and sales channels work in day-to-day operations.
Working with several Organizations
Section titled “Working with several Organizations”One account can have access to several Organizations.
If so, you can switch between them from the top bar in Comers Start.
After changing the Organization, you see the team members, Core instances, and settings for the selected business.
Your access can be different in each Organization.
Organization roles
Section titled “Organization roles”In Comers Start, an Organization member can have the role of owner or member.
The role helps describe how a person participates in the Organization, but assigned permissions still determine access to specific actions.
As a result, two people with the same role do not necessarily have exactly the same capabilities.
Platform Organization and Core Organization
Section titled “Platform Organization and Core Organization”The Organization in Comers Start and the Organization in Core are linked, but they serve different purposes.
In a typical setup, both represent the same company.
Comers Start is used to manage the account, team, and access, while Core is used for day-to-day work with sales and operational data.
More advanced setups can include several Core instances linked to one Organization in Start.

Unlinking Core context
Section titled “Unlinking Core context”If you have the appropriate permissions, you can unlink a Core instance from an Organization.
After unlinking, the instance is no longer available as an active environment for that Organization, but its history is not deleted.
See Core instances.
Archiving an Organization
Section titled “Archiving an Organization”If you have the appropriate permissions, you can archive an Organization.
An archived Organization is no longer used for normal work and may no longer provide access to its linked Core instances.
Before archiving, make sure you selected the correct Organization and that it is no longer needed for current work.
Organization permissions
Section titled “Organization permissions”Your permissions in an Organization determine, among other things, whether you can:
- change its details,
- manage team members,
- manage Core instances,
- generate an enrollment token,
- archive the Organization,
- launch Core.
If you can see an action but cannot use it, first check that you selected the correct Organization and have the appropriate permissions.
After creating the Platform Organization:
- add the people who need access,
- enroll or review a Core instance,
- launch Core,
- configure the operational Business structure.
